In March of 2022, Anna Winslow conceived and wrote the script for The Veil. Inspired by the story, and its images, Valentine Collective decided to to create The Veil as our first collaborative film.

In mid-April, with a budget of €500, a cast and crew of 10 friends, costumes found and made my hand, we set out to film in a remote town in Brandenburg, Germany. We stayed at the house of a friend that had no running water or electricity, and for three days devoted ourselves to shooting.
